Anatole Jenkins
Anatole has been organizing at the forefront of tough and historic political fights for the span of his career. He got his start organizing for President Obama’s reelection campaign in Nevada before serving as the Coordinated Campaign Field Director for the Nevada State Democratic Party in 2014.
He served in many leadership positions for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and in 2017 led efforts for the winning candidate in the most expensive local race in US history at the time, a Los Angeles County School Board race for Kelly Gonez.
Since then, he has played a leading role organizing against Donald Trump -- as National GOTV Director at the DCCC in 2018 ushering in massive voter turnout and a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives, and in his role as National Organizing Director for Kamala Harris For The People and, subsequently, National Director of States Organizing for the Biden-Harris campaign in 2020.
Prior to launching Contrast Campaigns, Anatole served as the Senior Advisor for Political and Organizing at the Democratic National Committee.
Brandon Thompson
Brandon departed the Biden-Harris Administration to launch Contrast Campaigns after serving as Special Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff in the Office of Presidential Personnel and as Deputy Director for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs in the Office of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Brandon’s expertise ranges from building and leading organizations with large budgets and staff, to designing and managing winning grassroots political and advocacy campaigns. In 2020, Brandon served as Director of National Campaigns for the Presidential Campaign of then-Senator Kamala Harris before joining the Biden for President campaign. Brandon has also held several state and national roles for campaigns and progressive organizations, including as National Field Director at For Our Future, National Training Director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), and as Campaign Manager for the successful 2015 campaign to raise Oregon’s minimum wage.
Jose Nunez
Jose has more than a decade of Democratic political experience, from school board to Presidential campaigns, with an expertise in developing innovative organizing programs utilizing digital strategies and technology. Previous to co-founding Contrast Campaigns, he served as National Organizing Director at the Democratic National Committee supporting sweeping midterm victories in 2022. Additionally he served as Director of Digital Organizing for the Biden-Harris campaign, where he developed a national and in-state distributed and digital organizing program, leading to the largest volunteer and voter contact program in Presidential history.
Jose is from San Antonio, Texas, and spends his spare time BBQing and doing fine woodworking. He currently resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Shelby, and their two pups, Buster & Rocky.
